Nothing In The World
This series of abstract urban landscapes was executed over a two year period in South East Asia. The photographs are impressionistic documentations of transitory places.
The photographs are uninhabited, operating without subject, drama or narrative. The images are empty and silent, consenting to an ambience of contemplation. There is an ephemeral quality to the temporary landscapes. The vacant locations subtly refer to their previous usages, and at times future transformations.
These are in-between places. Inside each photograph is an emphasised moment, a place where change is inevitable. The 'moments' await their future.
